    Hi guys, great vid, however a factoid is not a small fact but something everyone thinks is a fact but isn’t actually true. Sorry to be a pedant!

      You are wrong, and also right. It can mean both:

      fac·toid/ˈfaktoid/
      Noun:

      1. A brief or trivial item of news or information.
      2. An assumption or speculation that is reported and repeated so often that it becomes accepted as fact.
